Hi, I'm Caro!

Welcome to my creative world!

I’m a surface pattern designer and Illustrator. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

My Story

From a very young age, I have always been very creative and felt inspired by nature and the colors that surround us.

From the beginning, I knew I wanted to do something creative but wasn’t sure which path to take.

Finally, I decided to study Fashion and Textile Design at the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE).

In university, my fascination with patterns and illustration began. I started researching other artists and designers I admire and learning how they designed and drew.

It was a long journey of learning and insecurities (it still is). I worked in various textile companies where I learned a lot.

About a year ago, I decided to start this project, and that’s how Caro Terranova was born, my print studio where I design patterns and illustrations for clients from all over the world.

I love creating patterns inspired by nature, memories, everyday life, and telling stories through them. I also enjoy combining hand-drawing and then digitizing, or simply drawing digitally. I’m a fan of soft, not overly saturated color palettes, warm colors that convey calmness and delicacy.

What motivates me the most is the opportunity to collaborate with creative and passionate clients. I love listening to their ideas and turning them into patterns and illustrations that exceed their expectations. For me, every project is a challenge, to help the client differentiate their brand with unique patterns while preserving my personal style.

I created this website to introduce myself, showcase my work, and share more about my creative process. I also would like to share articles and resources related to design, illustration, and art that I hope will inspire you to create.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.”
